What Does Rapture Really Refer To?

By Chen Li, China

Editor’s Note:

Today, most brothers and sisters are expecting to be raptured into the clouds to meet the Lord when He returns. Christian Chen Li is no exception. One day when she read the Bible, she found that this expectation might not be in line with what the Lord Jesus said, and then got confused. Later, through Sister Han’s fellowship, Chen Li understood what rapture really is, what kind of people the Lord will rapture when He returns, and how to be raptured.

Christian Video “Have You Truly Repented?”

Christian Video “Have You Truly Repented?”

Introduction: The Lord Jesus said, “Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand” (Matthew 4:17). Once, Zhang Ming’en was a preacher at a house church. He believed in the Lord for many years, and for all that time, he preached, worked, suffered, and expended for the Lord. After he accepted God’s work of the last days, he was able to accept and submit to any duty arranged for him by the church, and he believed that through these good deeds, he had achieved genuine repentance and change. But, in a church election, Zhang Ming’en watched as other brothers and sisters were chosen as church leaders and deacons, while he was given the duty of hosting meetings. Although outwardly he appeared to accept and submit, he was very unhappy with it. When his wife exposes the fact that he hasn’t sincerely repented and changed, Zhang Ming’en is deeply confused: If behavioral change can’t be called genuine repentance and change, then just what is genuine repentance and change? Watch the skit Have You Truly Repented? to find out the answers.

God Does the Work of Judgment in the Last Days—A Commentary on 1 Peter 4:17

For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God.

1 Peter 4:17

Thoughts on Today’s Verse…

This verse is the prophecy of God doing the work of judgment in the last days. Concerning the work of the judgment in the last days, Jesus Christ also prophesied, “He that rejects me, and receives not my words, has one that judges him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day” (John 12:48). From these prophecies we can see when Jesus Christ comes in the last days, He will return to express the truth and do the work of judgment beginning from the house of God.

What Is True Faith in God?

By Miao Xiao

Every brother and sister in the Lord has their own different experiences of coming before God. However, so similar are most Christians’ experiences of faith in God after believing in the Lord: We read the Bible and pray to the Lord day after day, go to the church for gatherings regularly, spread the Lord Jesus’ salvation to our relatives and friends ardently, bear the cross, practice tolerance, patience, and loving others as ourselves and so on. In doing so, we think that we are believing in God. Moreover, we are envious of those brothers and sisters who know the Bible thoroughly, sacrifice and labor tirelessly for the Lord. Most of us think this kind of faith in God should be commended by Him. And we think if we believe in God this way, we will surely be raptured into the kingdom of heaven when the Lord Jesus returns.

To Be Saved – How Could We Find the Way of Eternal Life?

Question 1:

Now we learned about the true relationship between the Bible and God. The Bible is the Bible, God is God. They are different, and they can’t be thought of as the same. We should all hold God to be great and worship Him, obey Him, fear Him. We can’t use the Bible to replace Him. Man has blind faith in the Bible, seeing the Bible as equal to God. This is simply blasphemous to God. But since the Bible’s a record of God’s word and man’s testimony, why can’t we receive eternal life from reading the Bible? The Bible is a testimony to God’s work and has been so beneficial to mankind. Through reading the Bible, man comes to acknowledge God as the Creator of all things; he comes to learn of God’s omnipotence and deeds how great they are. So since the Bible contains God’s words, why is the way of eternal life not found in the Bible?

In Receiving the Lord’s Return, Listening for God’s Voice Is Crucial

The Lord Jesus said, “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me” (John 10:27).

When the Lord appeared and did the work, the Samaritan woman in the beginning just called the Lord Sir when she saw His ordinary appearance; only after the Lord Jesus spoke out her innermost secrets during their conversation did she recognize the Lord Jesus as the promised Messiah from the Lord’s words.

Christian Music Video “Accept the Judgment of Christ of the Last Days to Be Purified”

You know Jesus shall descend during the last days,
but how exactly will He do this?
Can a sinner like you, who’s now redeemed
but not perfected, be after God’s heart?
For you, still of your old self, you were saved by Jesus,
not counted as a sinner because of God’s salvation.
This does not mean you’re free of sin.
Can you be saintly if never changed?
The second incarnation is no longer a sin offering,
but rather to save fully those redeemed from sin.
So those forgiven may be cleaned and freed from sin,
disposition changed, breaking free of Satan’s grasp,
then return before God’s throne.
Only in this way can man be fully sanctified.

What Are the True Overcomers? How Can We Be Overcomers?

By Ganxin

At the mention of overcomers, we will think of the prophecies in the Book of Revelation, “And I looked, and, see, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father’s name written in their foreheads” (Revelation 14:1), “These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb” (Revelation 7:14). Here, the 144,000 prophesied in the scripture are the overcomers whom God wishes to make. They are the ones who stand testimony during the great tribulation, and who are approved by God and qualified to enter the kingdom of heaven. Becoming an overcomer is something that every believer in the Lord longs for, and it is the goal we seek. Many brothers and sisters believe this: We’ve followed the Lord for many years, during which we’ve toiled, given things up, expended ourselves, preached the gospel and shepherded the church and, throughout this time, we have suffered mockery and slander from worldly people and the misunderstanding of our relatives; and despite being persecuted and arrested by our own government, we never retreat. As long as we follow the Lord in this way to the end, we will be the overcomers.

6 Important Bible Verses about Being Born Again

Important Bible Verses about Being Born Again – The Lord told us only man who is born again can enter into God’s kingdom, while those who are not born again will be eliminated by God. So what does rebirth refer to? Let’s ponder God’s will in the following Bible verses about being born again.

– John 3:3

The Lord Jesus Christ Is God Himself

by Zhang Li

One morning, when my daughter and I were studying the Bible together, we saw these verses: “Philip said to him, Lord, show us the Father, and it suffices us. Jesus said to him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet have you not known me, Philip? he that has seen me has seen the Father; and how say you then, Show us the Father? Believe you not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak to you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwells in me, he does the works” (John 14:8-10). Wearing a look of confusion, my daughter asked me, “Mom, when the pastors and elders preach, they all say that the Lord Jesus is the Son of God, but right here the Lord Jesus said to Philip: ‘he that has seen me has seen the Father.’ ‘I am in the Father, and the Father in me.’ Mom, how are we meant to understand the words of the Lord Jesus?” Hearing that, I gave it some thought, but couldn’t think straight. I was at a loss how to answer my daughter.
