In the last days, it is our greatest hope to receive the return of the Lord Jesus Christ. To help all the people who yearn for God’s appearance to welcome the return of the Lord Jesus Christ soon, our blog will update the latest message on the return of the Lord.
Waiting for the Lord to Descend With Clouds to Take Me Into the Kingdom of Heaven
In our meetings, every time when talking about the return of the Lord, the pastor would fellowship these verses for us, “You men of Galilee, why stand you gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as you have seen Him go into heaven” (Acts 1:11), and said, “The Lord will come as He departed. After the Lord Jesus resurrected, His Spirit departed on a white cloud, so when He comes back, He will likewise descend on a cloud in a spiritual body. So we must pray and read the Bible more, preach the gospel more and make more offerings. This way, we will not be abandoned by the Lord, and will be taken into the kingdom of heaven when He returns.”
When you give your heart to God alone and you don’t play false to Him, when you never do what would deceive those above you or below, when you’re open with God in all things, when you don’t do things simply to win the favor and smile of God, this is being honest. Honesty means when you run from impurity in each word and each deed, when you cheat not God nor people. Honesty means when you run from impurity in each word and each deed, when you cheat not God nor people. This is honesty, oh, this is honesty.
Recently, I saw some believer asked in a post on Facebook, “Now is already the last days and the prophecies of the Lord’s return have basically all been fulfilled, but why haven’t we met the Lord yet? Is it that there is something wrong with our way of waiting?” Actually, most brothers and sisters are also confused about this. Regarding this question, I have some simple understanding and would like to share it with you now.
A magnitude 7.1 earthquake hit the waters off Jose Abad Santos town in Davao Occidental on Thursday, January 21. Although it didn’t cause much loss, it gave us food for thought: Pandemics, earthquakes, super typhoons, mudslides, floods, famines, and other disasters continue one after another—Why are there so many disasters now? What is God’s will? Let’s look at a passage of God’s words together and then we will understand.
Nowadays, the last days have arrived. I believe that the brothers and sisters from different denominations are all paying close attention to the return of the Lord Jesus. The Lord once promised us: “I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you to myself; that where I am, there you may be also” (John 14:2-3). For this reason, we are all eagerly expecting that the Lord will come again to bring us into the kingdom of heaven. However, with regard to the means of the Lord’s return, each denomination has a different understanding of it. There are mainly two points of view. Some denominations believe that as the Lord left in a spiritual body, then when coming to rapture us, He will certainly appear to us in a spiritual body. But, others hold a different idea. They believe that the Lord will reveal Himself to us in the form of flesh when coming back. Anyway, in what form the Lord will return is related to whether each of us Christians can be raptured. Therefore, we must make it clear, so as not to be abandoned by the Lord.
In the Age of Grace, the Lord Jesus did the work of redemption that absolved us of all our sins. As long as we accept the Lord Jesus as our Savior and pray and confess our sins to the Lord, then our sins will be absolved and we will be saved through our faith. So what exactly does “being saved” here mean? Can we be raptured and enter the kingdom of heaven by believing in the Lord, coming under His grace and being saved?
Gospel Movie Extract 2 From “Blessed Are the Poor in Spirit”: Can the Saved Enter Kingdom of Heaven?
The sharp “beep … beep” of a car’s horn sounded in the narrow alley, yanking Xu Min away from her thoughts. Turning to look back, she saw she hadn’t realized she was blocking the car behind her while she was lost in contemplation over something the pastor had said that morning. She rushed to apologize and moved to the side to make room for it to pass, leaving just her diminutive figure. She walked along very slowly as if the winter cold didn’t touch her at all.
Every brother and sister in the Lord who knows the Scriptures very well is familiar with Job’s trials. In Scripture it is written about him, “There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil” (Job 1:1). Then, on account of two accusations against Job Satan made before God, Jehovah said to Satan, “Behold, all that he has is in your power; only on himself put not forth your hand” (Job 1:12); “Behold, he is in your hand; but save his life” (Job 2:6). Then, trials came upon Job. In the trials of losing his property and children, as well as the trial of sore boils all over his body, his faith in God and reverence for Him were not shaken. What’s more, he still praised God and said, “Jehovah gave, and Jehovah has taken away; blessed be the name of Jehovah” (Job 1:21) and “shall we receive good at the hand of God, and shall we not receive evil?” (Job 2:10). Ultimately, Job’s reverence for Jehovah God gained God’s approval and blessing, becoming an exemplar for later generations to emulate. Every time I read Job’s stories, I have great admiration for his perfect and upright humanity, and even more envy his reverence for God amid Satan’s malicious temptations and attacks. Nevertheless, what made me confused is: Since Job was so perfect and upright, and adored by people so much, why did God allow Satan to afflict him and subject him to such great trials?
What is it that man has gained since he first began believing in God? What have you come to know about God? How much have you changed because of your belief in God? Today, you all know that man’s belief in God is not solely for the salvation of the soul and the well-being of the flesh, nor is it to enrich his life through loving God, and so on. As it stands, if you love God for the sake of the well-being of the flesh or momentary pleasure, then even if, in the end, your love for God reaches its peak and you ask for nothing more, this love that you seek is still an adulterated love and not pleasing to God. Those who use love for God to enrich their dull existence and fill a void in their hearts are the kind of people who are greedy for a life of ease, not those who truly seek to love God. Love of this kind is forced, it is the pursuit of mental gratification, and God has no need of it. What kind of love, then, is yours? For what do you love God? How much true love for God is there within you right now? The love of the great majority of you is of the aforementioned kind. Such love can only maintain the status quo; it cannot achieve immutability, nor can it take root in man. This kind of love is only like a flower that blooms and withers without bearing fruit. In other words, after you have loved God once in such a way, if there is no one to lead you on the path ahead, then you will collapse. If you can only love God in the time of loving God but afterward your life disposition remains unchanged, then you will remain unable to escape from beneath the shroud of the influence of darkness, you will remain unable to break free from Satan’s bonds and its trickery. No one such as this can be fully gained by God; in the end, their spirit, soul, and body will still belong to Satan. There can be no doubt about this. All those who cannot be fully gained by God will return to their original place, that is, back to Satan, and they will go down to the lake of fire and brimstone to accept the next step of punishment from God. Those gained by God are those who forsake Satan and escape from its domain. They are officially numbered among the people of the kingdom. This is how the people of the kingdom come to be. Are you willing to become this kind of person? Are you willing to be gained by God? Are you willing to escape from the domain of Satan and return to God? Do you now belong to Satan or are you numbered among the people of the kingdom? These things should already be clear, and require no further explanation.
