What Kind of People Can Gain God’s Salvation and Be Raptured?

By Chenwei

On the morning of Sunday, it was sunny. Flowers in the courtyard emitted a beautiful, strong smell. The voices of prayers were coming from brothers and sisters in the meeting place, “Our Father which are in heaven, Hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come, Your will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. … Amen.”

How Will the Lord Jesus Return in the Last days? I Gain New Knowledge in the Verses

By Lingling

Editor’s Note: When it comes to the manner of the Lord Jesus’ return in the last days, most brothers and sisters believe that the Lord Jesus will publicly appear to us upon a white cloud. But some brothers and sisters feel puzzled about this because it is also prophesied in the Bible that the Lord will come in secret like a thief. Then, how on earth will the Lord return in the last days? This issue is related to whether we can welcome the Lord’s return, so it deserves our seeking.

An Issue Related to Our Life and Death Amidst Disasters: Whether We Can Greet the Lord Before the Great Tribulation

signs of the last days

As disasters strike, you may say that they have not befallen you and there is nothing to worry about; maybe you live in worries and concerns all days, not knowing when the disaster will happen to you; perhaps you feel that the Lord will protect us as soon as we pray to the Lord and have faith in Him. But no matter what kind of thought we have, there is a question that is worth each of us considering: As the disaster is so severe and many people around the world die in disasters every day, how can we greet the Lord and obtain His protection before the disaster?

Messages on Facebook: Being Saved by Faith Alone Does Not Work

By Danyi

This morning, after practicing spiritual devotion and saying a prayer to God, I turned on my computer and logged on to Facebook. I then saw a message from Sister Jinshen: Hello, Danyi, the recent fellowshiping about the Bible with you has answered so many of the confusions I had in faith. And today I’d like to delve into another issue with you. Since I started believing in the Lord Jesus and read the following in the Bible: “For with the heart man believes to righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made to salvation” (Romans 10:10), I have always believed that because of our faith in the Lord Jesus, we believers are saved, that once we are saved then we are saved forever, and that when the Lord comes back we will automatically enter the kingdom of heaven. But later on, I read the Bible verses: “Be you holy; for I am holy” (1 Peter 1:16), and “Holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord” (Hebrews 12:14). Seeing these words reminded me of how we are still living in the state of continually sinning and confessing, and haven’t reached holiness. For example, some brothers and sisters follow the world’s evil trends, pursue eating, drinking and carousing, and covet physical pleasures; some indulge in online games or playing mahjong and gambling; some plot against each other in their interpersonal dealings, bicker over every little bit of their interests, and lie and cheat others. I am therefore really confused and wonder: The Lord is holy, so can we, who often commit sins, be worthy to see the Lord’s face and enter the kingdom of heaven? I’d like to hear your fellowship on this.

The Alarm of the Last Days Has Struck

Two thousand years ago, when the disciples of the Lord Jesus asked Him what would be the sign of the end of the world, the Lord Jesus answered, “And you shall hear of wars and rumors of wars: see that you be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. All these are the beginning of sorrows” (Matthew 24:6-8).

Nowadays, both natural and man-made disasters occur frequently all around the world. They spread over more and more regions and grow more and more ferocious. Earthquakes, floods, droughts, famines, and plagues can be seen everywhere; violence, racial conflicts, and terrorist attacks frequently take place; the situation of every country is in turmoil and wars continue…. The Lord Jesus’ prophecies about the end of the world have been fulfilled one after another.

How to Pursue So That Jesus Will not Abandon us When He Comes Back?

Jesus is love, and we believe that He will not abandon us when He comes back. We will just keep on believing like this, and we will leave it until later.

Bible Reference:

“Not every one that said to me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that does the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in your name? and in your name have cast out devils? and in your name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess to them, I never knew you: depart from me, you that work iniquity.” (Mat 7:21-23)

By Achieving One Thing, the Wise Virgins Can Welcome the Lord

Wise Virgins Can Welcome the Lord

Now the disaster is getting ever-more serious, and the prophecy regarding the Lord’s return has pretty much been fulfilled. Having not seen the Lord’s coming upon clouds, some brothers and sisters think the Lord may come amidst or after the great tribulation. In reality, before the great tribulation, the Lord has secretly come among men by becoming flesh. Let us look at a few verses in the Bible together. For example, “Be you therefore ready also: for the Son of man comes at an hour when you think not” (Luk 12:40). “For as the lightning, that lightens out of the one part under heaven, shines to the other part under heaven; so shall also the Son of man be in His day. But first must He suffer many things, and be rejected of this generation” (Luk 17:24-25).

Does “It Is Finished” Said by Jesus Mean Man Was Fully Saved?

By Liang Xin

The bitter north winds hit land with fury, causing a precipitate drop in the temperature. Snowflakes started to flutter down.

In the room, Jingxin, Hu Li and Liu Xin were sitting around the table studying the Bible together. Noticing that Jingxin was somewhat distracted, Hu Li asked with concern: “Sister Jingxin, what’s the matter? Aren’t you feeling well?”

So This Is How the Great White Throne Judgment Happens

By Witri, Indonesia

Editor’s Note: When the great white throne judgment prophesied in the Book of Revelation comes up, many brothers and sisters imagine that the Lord will come in the last days and be sitting on a great white throne, and then determine if people go up to heaven or down to hell based on what they’ve done. But is this how the prophecy will be fulfilled in reality? Witri gained a new understanding of the great white throne judgment through a period of investigation.

If No One Knew It When the Lord Has Come, How Would Someone Cry Out “the Bridegroom Comes”?

second coming of jesus

The Lord prophesied, “And, behold, I come quickly.” For two thousand years, all those who believe in the Lord have longed for the Lord’s return.
But when hearing someone testify that the Lord has returned, many people, based on the verse “But of that day and hour knows no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only” (Matthew 24:36), think that the Lord has not returned, because no one knows when the Lord will come. But is this view consistent with the Lord’s words? Is our such interpretation of the Lord’s words in line with the Lord’s will?
