We’ve Gained Salvation Through Jesus Christ, So Can We Enter the Heavenly Kingdom?

By Xuesong

Editor’s Note: Many Christians believe that we have received the salvation of the cross and it means that we have been completely obtained by God, and so when the Lord returns we will be directly raptured into the kingdom of heaven. But have we ever considered whether our receiving the salvation of the cross means that our sinful nature has been completely eliminated and that we have been completely gained by God?

God’s Name May Change, but His Essence Will Never Change

Relevant Words of God:

There are those who say that God is immutable. That is correct, but it refers to the immutability of God’s disposition and substance. Changes in His name and work do not prove that His substance has altered; in other words, God will always be God, and this will never change. If you say that the work of God always stays the same, then would He be able to finish His six-thousand-year management plan? You merely know that God is forever unchanging, but do you know that God is always new and never old? If the work of God never changed, then could He have brought mankind to today? If God is immutable, then why is it that He has already done the work of two ages? His work is always progressing forward, and so His disposition is gradually revealed to man, and what is revealed is His inherent disposition. In the beginning, God’s disposition was hidden from man, He never openly revealed His disposition to man, and man had no knowledge of Him, so He used His work to gradually reveal His disposition to man, but this does not mean that His disposition changes in each age. It is not the case that God’s disposition is constantly changing because His will is always changing. Rather, because the work of God is carried out in different ages, His inherent disposition in its entirety is gradually revealed to man, so that man is able to know Him. But this is by no means proof that God originally has no particular disposition and His disposition has gradually changed with the passing of the ages—such belief is nonsense. God reveals to man His inherent, particular disposition, what He is, according to the passing of the ages. The work of a single age cannot express the entire disposition of God. And so, the words “God is always new and never old” are in reference to His work, and the words “God is immutable” are in regard to what God inherently has and is. Regardless, you cannot define the six-thousand-year work in one point, or portray it with mere static words. Such is the stupidity of man. God is not as simple as man imagines, and His work will not stop in one age. Jehovah, for example, will not always stand for the name of God; God also does His work under the name of Jesus, which is a symbol of how God’s work is always progressing forward.

How to Welcome the Lord’s Return? Listen to the Utterances of the Holy Spirit

By Zheng Yan

Now is already the last days, and also the key time for welcoming the Lord’s return. Speaking of welcoming the Lord, many brothers and sisters know that it’s an important thing that pertains to whether or not we can be brought into the kingdom of heaven. Once we miss the chance, we shall regret it for the rest of our lives. Therefore, Sister Fang and I had a conversation about what is the most essential thing in welcoming the Lord’s return.

Whether We Can Gain God’s Mercy Depends on Whether We Truly Repent

True Repentance

Look back at the two sinful cities recorded in the Bible: Sodom and Nineveh. At that time, the people in these two cities had no place at all for God in their hearts. Their wickedness and corruption had already reached a degree detestable to both man and God. Thereby, they all were the objects that God decided to destroy. However, their different attitudes toward God’s warning brought them different fates and endings. The people of Sodom openly competed with God and did not have the slightest heart to repent to God. Their stubborn attitude of opposing God provoked God’s disposition, leading to their eternal destruction by God. On the contrary, after hearing the news from Jonah that God was going to destroy them in forty days, all of the people of Nineveh, from the king to the commoners, immediately wore sackcloth and ashes, repented and confessed their sins before God, and stopped doing evil things that oppose God. Their attitude of fearing God gained God’s mercy and forgiveness, so all the people of Nineveh survived because of their confession and repentance to God. From the different endings of Sodom and Nineveh, we can see that when we face God’s warning and work, whether we fear God and whether we have true repentance determine whether we can obtain God’s mercy and salvation.

When Jesus Returns, Will He Still Take the Name of “Jesus”?

By Xiang Guangming

As believers in the Lord, we all know that God’s name is Jehovah in the Old Testament, and Jesus in the New Testament. We also know that the Lord once prophesied that He will come again in the last days. So here is a question: Will the Lord still be called Jesus when He returns? I believe most brothers and sisters will answer yes, because it is said in the Bible, “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever” (Hebrews 13:8), and “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved” (Acts 4:12). On the basis of these verses, we think God’s name will never change and the Lord will still be called Jesus when He comes again. But is this view correct?

Can We Truly “Be Changed in the Twinkling of an Eye” and Raptured Into the Heavenly Kingdom?

By Xiang Mei

Two Views on Being Changed Instantly and Raptured Into the Kingdom of Heaven

View One:

“For our conversation is in heaven; from where also we look for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like to His glorious body, according to the working whereby He is able even to subdue all things to Himself” (Philippians 3:20–21).

Why Does the Lord First Become Flesh and Come in Secret to Save Man Upon His Return?

Lord returns

we all know that there are two ways in which the Lord comes. But God’s work is divided into steps. The Lord first becomes flesh and comes secretly to save people, and then He will publicly appear to people. Then someone may ask: Why does God come first in secret? This actually concerns the work God does when He appears in the last days. The Bible says,“For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God” (1 Peter 4:17). The Lord Jesus said, ‘He that rejects Me, and receives not My words, has one that judges him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day’(John 12:48).

How to Welcome the Lord’s Return in the Last Days

The Prophecies of the Lord’s Return Have All Been Fulfilled

The Lord Jesus said: “Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and puts forth leaves, you know that summer is near: So likewise you, when you shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. Truly I say to you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled” (Matthew 24:32-34). We Christians all know that these are some scriptures prophesying about the return of the Lord. Here, that the fig tree’s branch is tender and puts forth leaves refers to the return of Israel, which is to say, when it returns, we will know that the Lord will come back soon. Now, the Israel has been recovered for decades, so this prophecy has already been fulfilled.

How Does God Carry Out His Work of Judgment and Chastisement in the Age of Kingdom?

Let us look at how God carries out His work of judgment and chastisement in the Age of Kingdom; here it is necessary to quote Almighty God’s words to testify to God’s last days work.

Almighty God says: “When God becomes flesh this time, His work is to express His disposition, primarily through chastisement and judgment. Using this as the foundation, He brings more truth to man, shows more ways of practice, and so achieves His objective of conquering man and saving man from his corrupt disposition. This is what lies behind the work of God in the Age of Kingdom.”

Have You Found All the Truth the Lord Gives Us Upon His Second Coming?

second coming of jesus

The Lord Jesus said, “I have yet many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. However, when He, the Spirit of truth, is come, He will guide you into all truth: for He shall not speak of Himself; but whatever He shall hear, that shall He speak: and He will show you things to come.” (John 16:12-13). “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give to them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.”(John 10:27-28)
