Being Raptured Into Heaven Achievable When the Lord Returns?

The Lord has promised to us, “I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you to myself; that where I am, there you may be also” (John 14:2-3). We know that the Lord has prepared a place for us in heaven. When He’s back directly to the kingdom of heaven, we’ll go. So if the Lord has returned, I truly wonder why we are still here and not in heaven.

The Spirit of Truth Will Guide You Into All Truth – John 16:12-13

I have yet many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. However, when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will show you things to come.

John 16:12-13

What Should We Know of the Trinity?

By Chen Yan

Although many brothers and sisters in the Lord verbally acknowledge that there is only one God, who is unique, yet whom they pray to is the Trinity, that is, the God of three persons—the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. In the imagination of man, the Father is the great and powerful Jehovah God in heaven who “wears the golden crown on His head, His clothing is pure white”; the Son is the Lord Jesus who could be crucified and serve as a sin offering for man; the Holy Spirit can move man’s heart, grasp all matters, enlighten and guide man. That is a Trinity who has distinct persons of different functions, and that the combination of Gods of three persons is a complete God Himself. Therefore, the majority of believers pray in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Then, are we right or wrong in this opinion? Does the “Trinity” make sense? We will fellowship about it.

The Prayer of the Publican—Luke 18:13–14

And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes to heaven, but smote on his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner. I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalts himself shall be abased; and he that humbles himself shall be exalted.

What Does God Imply Us in Amos 8:11 by Mentioning the Church’s Desolation in the Last Days?

By Qiulin

Editor’s Note: Do you know why the faith of many believers has grown cold and why they cannot feel the presence of God when praying? It is because the spiritual famine that Amos 8:11 prophesies in the Bible appears. Are you eager to know what we should do to end the spiritual famine? Please read this article carefully and you’ll find the answer.

A gust of autumn wind blew through, sweeping up the fallen leaves in the yard. Sitting by the window, I frowned and pondered over these verses, “Behold, the days come … that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of Jehovah” (Amos 8:11), and “And also I have withheld the rain from you, when there were yet three months to the harvest: and I caused it to rain on one city, and caused it not to rain on another city: one piece was rained on, and the piece whereupon it rained not withered” (Amos 4:7). It can be seen from these verses that God will cause famine to befall the religious world when His followers all deviate from His way and no longer obey His words. That is to say, the desolation of the church is ordained by God, but what is God’s intention behind that? And what inspiration can we people of the last days gain? With this in mind, I came before the Lord, prayed and sought to Him. After I consulted the Bible and some spiritual books, the riddle in my heart was finally solved.

Daily Bible Reading: I Know I Shouldn’t Do the Things as “the Temple Is Greater Than God” in Belief in God

The Lord Jesus says: “But I say to you, That in this place is one greater than the temple. But if you had known what this means, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice, you would not have condemned the guiltless. For the Son of man is Lord even of the sabbath day” (Matthew 12:6-8). I thought about the Lord Jesus’ words: Why does the Lord say these words? The temple is the place where people worship God. It should be approved by Him. But why does the Lord say: “That in this place is one greater than the temple. … For the Son of man is Lord even of the sabbath day”? At that time, my mind couldn’t help but fly back to the time when the Lord Jesus was working. When the Lord Jesus came into the flesh to work, those chief priests, scribes, and Pharisees were the people who served God in the temple all their lives. But when the Lord Jesus worked, He didn’t go to the temple to preach to those who seemed to be the most “devout” but He condemned them saying that woe befell them. What were the Lord Jesus’ thoughts behind it?

How Will the Lord Return in the Last Days?

By Wu Wen, Italy

Many brothers and sisters in the Lord eagerly wait for the Lord to return and think that the Lord will come in His resurrected spiritual body descending with the clouds. Because the Bible says, “You men of Galilee, why stand you gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as you have seen Him go into heaven” (Act 1:11), “Behold, He comes with clouds” (Rev 1:7). Most people wait for the Lord to suddenly descend with the clouds one day. For thousands of years, Christians have longed for it so.
