If No One Knew It When the Lord Has Come, How Would Someone Cry Out “the Bridegroom Comes”?

second coming of jesus

The Lord prophesied, “And, behold, I come quickly.” For two thousand years, all those who believe in the Lord have longed for the Lord’s return.
But when hearing someone testify that the Lord has returned, many people, based on the verse “But of that day and hour knows no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only” (Matthew 24:36), think that the Lord has not returned, because no one knows when the Lord will come. But is this view consistent with the Lord’s words? Is our such interpretation of the Lord’s words in line with the Lord’s will?

The Lord Jesus said, “And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom comes; go you out to meet him” (Matthew 25:6). “Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear My voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with Me” (Revelation 3:20). From this, we can see that when the Lord has come, some people will know it first, and those who know first will then tell those who still don’t know. And the Lord tells us that when we hear about the Lord’s return, we should go to welcome Him. He will feast with those who welcome Him when hearing His voice. So, if no one knows that the Lord has come back, who will call “the bridegroom comes”?
